1)
More pix from our first couple days of travel in
Mexico. Just had to show the following picture,
because the clouds were so white and the sky was
so blue in Mexico. Besides, I spent a long time
editing out a telephone pole in this one. Can you
tell where the pole was??
Here's a little boy from Creel, the first town
where we glimpsed the people called the
"Tarahumara" on our way to the hospital in
Samachique, our destination.
As
I mentioned previously, after leaving Creel on
Sunday afternoon, August 22, we drove to a park
outside Creel. The following were some of the
sights and people we saw.
The lady below had several things to sell me. Too
bad I left my money in the van.
When the woman turned to go, guess what I saw on
her back?
Awww.....
Look closely at the next one. Anything about her
T-shirt seem familiar?
Later, as we left the park, I looked through the
van window to see the child below crawling on the
ground near the road. I thought she was adorable.
As the van started to pull away from the park, I
yelled, "Wait, wait! Stop, Scott! Let me take her
picture!" Fortunately, Scott obliged.
